Information on Standard, Gold and Platinum Licenses
Applies to beats purchased on or after October 14th 2014.
In a word, yes! You can still use the beat up to the limits set out in the license agreement.
Yes, you can do this directly from the site. All you need to supply when you upgrade is the email address you originally used to buy your existing license. You can even upgrade your license if originally brought as part of a package deal.
As an artist, you're given the full right to use the instrumentals for whatever you wish, but you don't them outright. Other artists can be given the same rights as you for the same beat, and it remains on the site for others to license.
The license system exists so that artists can download the instrumentals they need, and producers have the time and finances they need to keep producing.
Once you purchase a Platinum License, the beat will be removed from the website immediately and removed from Soundcloud within 24 hours.
Quite possibly. If you want to know how many people have used a particular beat, please ask and I'll be able to provide you with the details.
No. If you purchased a license before this date, your existing agreement is still valid.
Yes. If the standard license agreement doesn't suit your needs, just let me know.
Tracked out files are supplied when ordering a Platinum or Gold License.
As well as the standard stereo master, beats with track outs are supplied with multiple audio files, each file containing a separate instrument.
Using suitable software you can mix the individual instruments and parts (which make up the beat) separately and apply effects and edits of your choice.
The individual instrument parts are supplied without any effects, levels or panning. The actual files supplied and instrumental breakdown will depend on the software originally used in the production. The files are 24bit format, WAV.
Beats are available with tracked out files only when brought with a Platinum or Gold License.
Tracked out files are prepared to order and delivered within 48 hours after ordering. The files are uploaded to Dropbox or a similar file sharing service and a download link sent to your email address.
